Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Londonderry, NH, is seeking an Associate Manager of Quality Engineering (Supplier Quality). This leadership role oversees Receiving Inspection and Supplier Quality Technician teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery within a Lean framework.

You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate with IVS Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations Quality, and lead KPI development for safety, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 4 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements for Mechanical, Optical, and Electronic components (GD&T, MIL/ISO, IPC, JEDEC, etc.).
• Strong business process flow documentation and diagramming skills.
• Relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Inspection, and/or Supplier Quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership to the area Group Leader, Receiving Inspectors, Supplier Quality Technicians, and other team members.
• Assume dotted line leadership of Supplier Quality Engineering team.
• Work cross-functionally with IVS Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations Quality to resolve issues, drive corrective actions, and enhance supplier performance.
• Define and hold teams accountable for Receiving Inspection KPIs: safety, quality, delivery, cost.
• Lead yield improvement activities and drive measures to improve methods, equipment performance, and Inspection efficiency utilizing Lean/Six Sigma Principles.
