Qualifications

• In lieu of a degree, 10 years of related supplier quality experience.
• Experience with PPAP, audits, and ISO9001/AS9100 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality activities across multiple programs with minimal supervision.
• Serve as the primary quality interface between suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.
• Drive supplier corrective action requests, root cause analysis, containment, and verification of actions.
• Assess supplier performance, identify risk, and develop mitigation plans.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and process reviews for compliance.
• Monitor supplier quality metrics and trends to address cost/quality/schedule impacts.
• Support MRB activities and disposition with internal and supplier stakeholders.
• Partner with sourcing and supply chain for supplier selection and development.
• Review and interpret drawings, specs, and flow-down quality clauses.
• Provide leadership in resolving complex supplier-related issues affecting production.
• Coordinate readiness activities, first article inspections, and process validation.
• Travel to supplier locations up to 25% to support audits and investigations.
• Operate as an independent, experienced resource for day-to-day supplier quality tasks.
