Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain (HTGP) in West Point, GA is seeking a Supplier Quality Assistant Manager to lead supplier quality controls, oversee incoming inspections, and drive corrective actions with data-driven decisions.

You will manage the department budget, mentor a small team, and partner with manufacturing to resolve design and process issues, ensuring products meet customer requirements and KPI targets.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of related experience.
• 3–5 years of supervision (preferred).
• Must be able to rotate to other shifts as needed.
• Bilingual (Korean).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must satisfactorily complete HTGP hiring process requirements.
• Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.
• Stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality production through supplier control via incoming inspection and action on quality issues.
• Analyze quality data, report discrepancies, and require corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain cost of quality system for CKD supplier quality.
• Assist, track and review supplier ISIRs/4M for product approval.
• Lead with management to develop and audit processes meeting external requirements.
• Coordinate customer complaints, field return issues, and CAR processes.
