Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System in West Point, GA seeks a Quality Group Lead to coordinate inspections and testing across assembly stages, ensuring conformity to quality standards.

You will supervise QA personnel, develop training, plan work schedules, monitor quality, and drive continuous improvement using Kaizen and lean methods. A manufacturing/industrial engineering background is preferred with automotive experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Supervisor or Team Lead in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience in automotive seating manufacturing is a plus.
• Knowledge of quality systems (TS16949, ISO, QS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Quality personnel and scheduling.
• Lead training programs on quality awareness and best practices.
• Coordinate inspections and testing to meet customer specifications and production goals.
• Work with cross-functional teams to investigate defects and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare reports and support quality control systems across the production cycle.
