Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System seeks a Quality Group Leader to oversee inspectors and testers, ensuring parts meet the highest quality standards throughout assembly. You will review work instructions, specifications, and production schedules to plan inspections and testing sequences.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with department leads, drive continuous improvement, manage training, and ensure compliance with TS16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, while supporting safety and 5S practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Quality Supervisor or Team Lead in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience in automotive seating manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience in Tier 1 automotive is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Quality personnel, including time entry and discipline issues.
• Provide direction, development and leadership to the team.
• Demonstrate processes, equipment operations, and safety procedures to new employees.
• Deliver and support training programs to educate employees on quality awareness.
• Plan and establish work schedules to meet production goals.
• Work with department leadership to monitor standards and resolve issues to meet standards.
• Coordinate operation activities within/between departments with Team Leads.
• Optimize all Quality processes and monitor for nonconformances.
• Complete inspections per Quality Management System and customer agreements.
• Prepare detailed reports for action and recording.
