Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System seeks a Quality Group Lead to coordinate inspection/testing of parts and subassemblies as they move through assembly, ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer specs. You will review work instructions, production schedules, and specifications to determine inspection methods and work assignments.

You will lead a team, train employees, monitor quality, and drive improvements across the department, with emphasis on TS16949/ISO standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or similar discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quality Supervisor or Team Lead in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience in automotive seating manufacturing is a plus.
• Knowledge of Quality Systems including TS16949, ISO and QS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Quality personnel, including time entry and discipline issues.
• Provide direction, development and leadership to the team.
• Deliver and support training on quality awareness and best practices.
• Plan work schedules and assignments to meet production goals.
• Monitor production to detect and address quality issues and nonconformances.
• Assist in developing and implementing production tracking and quality control systems.
