Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain (HTGP) in Georgia seeks a Purchasing Leader to drive sourcing, supplier selection and order placement for development through mass production. You will manage changes, negotiate contracts and establish KPIs for the procurement organization.

You will ensure compliance with HTGP policies, safety standards and USMCA regulations while coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize cost, quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ purchasing experience (Automotive industry preferred).
• Knowledge of Purchasing guidelines and programs.
• Knowledge of U.S. Custom regulations and recommendations.
• Experience with Purchasing systems.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with little direction.
• Excellent oral communication and listening skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Purchasing activities for sourcing, supplier selection and order placement.
• Manage EO/4M Changes and New Project development in supply chain.
• Negotiate terms, bidding, supplier nominations and contracts.
• Establish KPIs and manage Purchasing/Procurement organization.
• Ensure compliance with HTGP policies and USMCA/tariff framework.
• Communicate with leaders on new projects and risks.
