Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related technical field.
• 3 years experience in quality assurance.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Six Sigma tools (FMEAs, Gauge R&R, Capability Analysis, SPC).
• Able to lead cross-functional teams and communicate across cultures/regions.
• Up to 50% domestic and international travel.
• Position based in York, PA; provide support to AHU sites.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier performance and drive closure of daily supplier quality issues.
• Collaborate with plant Quality Engineers to address supplier issues.
• Assess and qualify suppliers based on capability, quality, cost and compliance.
• Work with suppliers to resolve performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for supplier process improvements.
• Support suppliers through product launches and ramp-ups.
• Communicate top issues across North American plants to Corporate Supplier Quality.
• Review and approve supplier corrective actions and PPAPs.
