Qualifications

• Must be an OU student enrolled in a degree program.
• Undergraduate OU student, second semester freshman standing or higher.
• Minimum 3.7 GPA (A-) in the course(s) you want to lead.
• Expertise in the course content area.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Must be a positive role model and empathetic towards people.
• Must be recommended by one OU faculty member in the subject area of the SI.
• Participate in mandatory training prior to the start of the semester.
• Attend 4 hours of professional development during the semester.

Job description

Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders are responsible for preparing and conducting organized, regularly scheduled group study sessions. SI Leaders attend the professor's lecture and provide course-specific practice materials and test preparation based on the professor’s lecture and students’ needs.

Qualifications:

• Must be a currently enrolled OU student in a degree seeking program
• Undergraduate OU student, second semester freshman standing or higher
• Minimum 3.7 GPA (A-) in the course(s) you want to lead
• Expertise in the course content area
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Must be a positive role model and empathetic towards people
• Must be recommended by one OU faculty member in the subject area of the SI
