Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells, WI is seeking a Sous Chef for Daylene’s Supper Club. You will support the Executive Chef in menu execution, lead a culinary team, and uphold our commitment to quality and memorable dining experiences.

You will help drive guest satisfaction through precise cooking, strong leadership, and attention to every detail. This role offers growth within a family-owned company dedicated to exceptional hospitality and philanthropy.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of culinary leadership experience, preferably in a fine dining, steakhouse, or supper club environment.
• Experience in cost control, purchasing, and kitchen labor management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, and a genuine joy for creating exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Execute menus developed by Kalahari corporate with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
• Support daily kitchen operations by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across all stations.
• Assist in leading, training, and mentoring culinary team members, fostering growth and accountability.
• Help manage food costs, inventory levels, and vendor relationships to maintain operational excellence.
• Execute and support memorable tableside presentations, including Prime Rib carving and Baked Alaska.
• Collaborate with culinary and front-of-house leadership to deliver a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
