Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells, WI is seeking Prep Cooks and Cooks for Daylene's Supper Club. This role supports a guest-centric dining experience and upholds our Lead with Love promise while guiding a collaborative kitchen team.

Responsibilities include adhering to recipes and safety standards in a fast-paced environment, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Full-time cooks receive a competitive benefits package.

Competenze

• 1 year of progressive culinary experience in a hotel restaurant/food outlet facility or related field helpful.
• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of state-certified proper food handling certification. ServSafe® certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of equipment to be operated: Flat grill, Pasta well, Steam table, Browning oven, Cheese chopper/grater, Steam jacket, Ovens, Top Burners, Pizza and Dessert Cooler, Slicer, Broiler, Steamer, and Knives.
• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively. Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, work under pressure and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

• Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the facility recipes, portioning, cooking, timing, serving, and presentation standards.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the culinary preventative maintenance programs.
• Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the kitchen areas, associates and guests.
• Participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily.
