Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells, WI is seeking a Sous Chef for Daylene's Supper Club. You will support the Executive Chef with precise menu execution, lead a culinary team, and uphold our commitment to quality and guest experience.

The role requires at least 2 years of culinary leadership, a passion for both traditional Midwestern flavors and modern techniques, and the ability to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of culinary leadership experience.
• Passion for traditional Midwestern flavors and modern techniques.
• Flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in cost control and kitchen labor management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a focus on guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Execute menus developed by Kalahari corporate with precision and consistency.
• Support daily kitchen operations across all stations.
• Lead, train, and mentor culinary team members.
• Manage food costs, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Execute memorable tableside presentations, such as Prime Rib carving and Baked Alaska.
• Collaborate with culinary and front-of-house leaders to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
