The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts is seeking a candidate with at least one full year of specialized experience in program or project management.

The role requires hands-on experience implementing projects, coordinating budgets and procurement, and communicating program objectives effectively. Highly desired are experience managing customer engagement focused programs, development of recruitment pipelines, and supervisory experience.

Job description

Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions.

Specialized Experience:

Applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience must demonstrate experience in ALL areas defined below:

  • Experience working as a program or project manager and implementing projects.
  • Coordinating internal budget functions, finance management, cost savings analysis, travel arrangements, procurement, and other operational programs.
  • Experience writing and communicating program objectives, processes, and outcomes.
Highly Desired:
  • Experience managing programs focused on customer engagement, recruitment pipeline development, employee engagement, development, and retention.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.
Applicants with the following certifications are highly desirable:
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
