Job summary

Cav is seeking a Program/Project Manager level professional to lead delivery for U.S. Federal Government customers from its Tysons, VA office.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, product, security, and executive leadership to advance programs on schedule, within budget, and consistent with contractual commitments.   • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Customer Delivery roles supporting U.S. Federal Government customers.
  • Proven experience managing federal programs, contracts, and customer relationships in a government contracting environment.
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, program execution, and contract deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating crossfunctional teams including engineering, product, security, customer success, and executive leadership.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior government officials and internal leadership teams.
  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and risk management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience tracking program milestones, budgets, KPIs, and reporting metrics to leadership and customers.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and federal security requirements such as FedRAMP, NIST, RMF, or similar standards.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, ambiguous, and customer‑facing environments.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance, if required.

Qualifications
Required

  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project/program management certifications
  • Experience managing subcontractors, third‑party vendors, and strategic partners
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities, support renewals, and contribute to strategic account planning
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and government funding cycles
  • Experience supporting executive briefings, QBRs, and customer strategic planning sessions
  • Passion for delivering mission impact through technology and operational excellence
  • A degree in Business, Public Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
