Job summary

Naval Education and Training Command in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst for SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD Hampton Roads to lead and train administrative personnel and ensure mission readiness.

The role requires directing pay and entitlement processing using Navy systems; you will brief command leadership on student personnel readiness metrics and serve as CPPA system liaison.

Qualifications

  • One year of specialized experience at or equivalent to GS-09 or pay band in Federal service or equivalent in private/public sector.
  • Leading, training, or overseeing administrative personnel to achieve daily and command goals.
  • Utilizing core Navy personnel and pay systems to process, verify, approve, and audit student gains, losses, and entitlements.
  • Investigating and resolving complex military pay, allowance, and entitlement discrepancies.
  • Communicating effectively to brief command leadership on student personnel readiness metrics and serve as liaison.

Job description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD HAMPTON ROADS.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Leading, training, or overseeing administrative personnel to achieve daily and overall tasks and command goals;
  • Utilizing core Navy personnel and pay systems or similar systems to process, verify, approve, and audit student gains, losses, and entitlements;
  • Investigating and resolving complex military pay, allowance, and entitlement discrepancies;
  • Communicating effectively to brief command leadership on student personnel readiness metrics, manage CPPA system access/roles, and serve as the command's primary liaison.
