Job Overview

The Injection Molding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all activities within the assigned production area, ensuring on-time delivery of quality products while supervising departmental personnel daily.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, organize, and direct manufacturing operations to meet production schedules, coordinating with the Production Manager regarding staffing (vacation, temporary workers, overtime).
2. Provide daily production expectations and quality feedback during start-up meetings.
3. Monitor daily production requirements to meet customer needs and plant goals, adhering to HSE and 5S policies.
4. Train and evaluate employees, ensuring certification and training matrices are maintained.
5. Compile and distribute KPI data and shift reports to management and support teams.
6. Ensure proper job training, rotations, and compliance with all safety and operational policies.
7. Maintain product quality throughout the production process.
8. Participate in team meetings and quality initiatives.
9. Identify and implement continuous improvement (CI) opportunities through daily reviews.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience may be considered.
• 3-5 years of experience in injection molding.
• 1-3 years of experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites, including physically demanding environments.
• Proficiency in computer skills and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
