Join to apply for the Supervisor - Production role at Stoughton Trailers, LLC.

Manage all aspects of the production process in a manufacturing environment to ensure proper coordination among departments and the manufacturing line.

Understand the organization’s support functions (engineering, sales, accounting, supply chain, human resources, manufacturing) to effectively communicate, plan, and resolve issues with the production team.

Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.

Ensure contributions from each department contribute to high-quality, safe products for customers.

Manage employees to develop effective employee relations, adhere to health and safety standards, meet productivity goals, minimize turnover, maintain proper inventory levels, and uphold high-quality standards.

Provide coaching and development for employees.

Partner with Human Resources to resolve employee issues, issue discipline, and make employment decisions as needed.

Continuously improve processes using the Good to Go methodology and monitor daily activities.

Perform accident investigations and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.

Track absenteeism, approve vacations, and manage timesheets for direct reports weekly.

Ensure compliance with company and department policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business management or 5-10 years’ experience in manufacturing supervision.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with health and safety management systems.
• Ability to plan ahead (30, 60 days, etc.).
• Experience with ERP/MRP and timekeeping software.
• Background in machining/assembly.
