About Us

What You'll Be Doing

• Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and Mines Code requirements for all personnel and operations.

• Perform Shiftboss duties as per the Mines Code.

• Coordinate processing, stockpiling, and load-out activities using detailed operational plans.

• Monitor operations and manage staff to achieve efficiency and compliance with the collective agreement.

• Communicate with maintenance and technical services to prioritize activities and ensure product specifications are met.

What Are We Looking For

• Post-secondary education in a mining-related discipline or significant operational experience in mining and manufacturing.

• BC Ministry of Energy & Mines Shiftboss certificate.

• Strong leadership skills with experience in health & safety management, human resources and labour relation management in a unionized environment.

• Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Kronos Time & Attendance, and CAD.

• Knowledge of aggregate mining, material processing, quality control, and marine bulk transport methods.
