Job summary

Yanfeng International Automotive Technology Co. Ltd. in Kentucky is seeking a Production Team Lead to plan and schedule personnel in collaboration with the Production Manager, including vacations, temporary workers, and overtime.

You will provide production expectations and quality feedback in daily startup meetings, monitor shift-wide production requirements, and ensure HSE and 5S standards are followed while driving continuous improvement across the team.

Job Description

Plan and schedule personnel in cooperation with the Production Manager (i.e.vacation, temporary workers, overtime work).

Provide production expectations and quality feedback to team members in daily startup meeting.

Monitor daily established production requirements throughout the shift to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met while ensuring HSE and 5S policies and standards are followed.

Train and monitor employee performance to ensureoperator is certified and operator training matrix is updated and meeting departmental targets.

Compile KPI data and populate end of shift report. Distribute to manager and appropriate operations and support personnel.

Ensure job training and daily job rotations are in place and enforced.

• Ensure compliance of the UAW contract, team member handbook, safety guidelines, all rules, programs and procedures that pertain to production team members.

Monitor quality of product throughout the production process.

Participates in Team Leader meetingsand Quality initiatives.

Daily review of process and people to identify and implement CI opportunities.

High School Graduate or Equivalent

Area of Study: General Studies

3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Production.

3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Production.

1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.

Must be able and willing to traveland work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing,lifting, or working in confined spaces.

Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
