Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Plant 7, 101 County Road M, Evansville, WI 53536, USA

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of the production process in a manufacturing environment to ensure coordination across departments.
2. Understand support functions (engineering, sales, accounting, supply chain, HR, manufacturing) to communicate, plan, and resolve issues effectively.
3. Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, procedures, and working conditions.
4. Ensure contributions from all departments contribute to high-quality, safe products for customers.
5. Manage employees to develop effective relations, adhere to health and safety standards, maintain productivity, minimize turnover, and uphold quality standards.
6. Provide coaching and development for employees.
7. Partner with HR to resolve employee issues, administer discipline, and make employment decisions.
8. Utilize the Good to Go process to monitor daily departmental activities and pursue continuous improvement.
9. Perform accident investigations and recommend safety improvements.
10. Track absenteeism, approve vacations, and manage timesheets for direct reports.
11. Ensure compliance with company and department policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or 5-10 years of manufacturing supervision experience.
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• At least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-3+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience with health and safety management systems.
• Ability to plan ahead (30, 60 days, etc.).
• Experience with ERP/MRP and timekeeping software.
• Background in machining/assembly.
• Experience in training and development.
