Production Supervisor L&M - County Materials

County Materials Corporation is a leading manufacturer and trusted industry resource for concrete construction and landscape products. For more than 75 years, their products have been used to build the communities where Americans live, work, and play.

We are seeking a Production Supervisor for our customer, County Materials, located in Janesville, WI.

Job Duties:

1. Supervise, schedule, and approve time for the production team, and evaluate performance.
2. Oversee all production activities.
3. Ensure production goals are met.
4. Maintain department quality and safety standards.
5. Manage maintenance and procurement of manufacturing supplies.
6. Report to the Operations Manager.
7. Coordinate with Dispatch, Quality Control, and Yard staff.
8. Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
9. Perform other tasks as needed.
10. Work in indoor and outdoor conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures.
11. Work near moving machinery and equipment, with potential electrical hazards.
12. Operate in a noisy environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional lifting/carrying of 10-40 pounds.
• Rarely lift/carry over 40 pounds.
• Stand, walk, and climb.
• Squat, crouch, kneel, and bend.
• Pushing, pulling, and reaching above shoulder level.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industry concepts, practices, and procedures is a plus.
• Good judgment in work site unloading and operation.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Self-motivated and flexible to meet team needs.
• Safety-conscious in task performance.
• Willingness to learn and undergo training.
