Production Supervisor L&M - County Materials (Healthcare)

County Materials Corporation is a leading manufacturer and trusted industry resource for concrete construction and landscape products. For more than 75 years, their products have been used to build the communities where Americans live, work, and play.

We are seeking a Production Supervisor for our customer, County Materials in Janesville, WI.

Job Duties:

1. Supervises, schedules, and approves time and evaluates performance for the production team
2. Supervises all production activities
3. Responsible for meeting production goals
4. Responsible for department quality and safety
5. Responsible for maintenance and purchase of manufacturing supplies
6. Reports to Operations manager
7. Coordinates with Dispatch, Quality Control, and Yard staff
8. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
9. Other tasks as needed

Work Environment:

Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures. Work near moving machinery and equipment, which could include electrical hazards. Work in a noisy environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds occasionally
• Carrying/Lifting > 40 Pounds rarely
• Standing / Walking / Climbing
• Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending
• Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder

Experience & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6-8 years of related experience
• Knowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, and procedures preferred
• Exercise good judgment regarding work site unloading and operation
• Ability to perform well as a team
• Self-motivator and flexible to accommodate team needs
• Safety-minded when performing tasks
• Willingness to learn and be trained
