Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Supply Manager to oversee the Bramhall O.R. and the Scarborough Surgery Center operations, supervising the supply coordinators, managing inventory, handling non-stock purchases, and distributing supplies across departments.

The role requires initiative, independent judgment, and strong customer service, with collaboration to optimize operations and reduce waste. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High school preferred and/or 2-year Associate's Degree in Business Management.
• Three years of progressively more responsible experience in distribution systems, inventory management, purchasing and supervision of staff.
• Knowledge of purchasing and inventory management.
• Analytical ability sufficient to identify, anticipate and resolve problems through the development of appropriate and efficient systems.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital management and to effectively supervise subordinate staff.

Description

The incumbent is primarily responsible for the management of the Supply coordinators at the Bramhall O.R. as well as the Scarborough Surgery Center as needed. Work involves full management responsibility for staff, management of inventory, Purchasing of non stocks, management of outdates and distribution of supplies. Work requires use of initiative and independent judgment and involves a high degree of customer service focus throughout the institution.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: High school preferred and/or 2-year Associate's Degree in Business Management.
• Experience: Three years of progressively more responsible experience in distribution systems, inventory management, purchasing and supervision of staff.
• Knowledge of purchasing and inventory management.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.

The pay range for this position is $25.24 to $34.16 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
