Provides daily supervision of Patient Transport team members to perform responsibilities of providing safe transportation of patients and items within the hospital. The Supervisor is responsible for monitoring team member and department performance expectations, assisting with budget management, and leading new team member training programs.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: Approximately 1-2 years progressively more responsible related work experience desirable.
• Ability to prepare reports by utilizing hospital and department computerized software program.
• Interpersonal skills necessary for the effective leadership of assigned personnel and in order to interact with a variety of personnel throughout the hospital.
• Ability to monitor individual and team productivity and meet with personnel to improve productivity.
• Flexibility in work assignments and requirement to work on weekends and holidays.

The pay range for this position is $21.97to $29.28 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
