Job summary

Jobtailor in Fort Lupton, Colorado is seeking a supervisor to lead a skilled team of technicians supporting facility equipment maintenance and pipeline operations. Under the Operations Manager, you will drive safety, meet maintenance priorities, coordinate training, manage budgets, and communicate outage plans to minimize impact on customers and profitability.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a supervisor or senior lead.
  • Minimum of eight years of industry-specific operations experience.
  • Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, interpersonal, and safety skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Broad knowledge of pipeline operations, engineering practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Willingness to work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and enclosed spaces.
  • Ability to carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads over 50 lbs as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for long periods.
  • Ability to work at elevated levels using appropriate PPE.
  • Ability to use hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a highly skilled group of technicians supporting facility equipment maintenance and pipeline operations.
  • Work under the Operations Manager to achieve safety, operational, and maintenance priorities.
  • Coordinate training and ensure team members can identify hazards and safely perform duties.
  • Verify work complies strictly with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and motivating work environment.
  • Supervise and audit critical safety procedures and provide regular feedback.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and routine operating cost analysis.
  • Communicate outage plans to business partners to minimize customer and profitability impacts.
  • Build collaborative and effective teams.
  • Arrange workforce planning and career development for team members.
  • Delegate and coordinate work.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure economic operations through planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling.
  • Analyze and develop process improvements and vital documentation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert or change agent for organizational programs and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
