Job summary

Jobtailor in Oklahoma is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale oil and gas facilities projects. You will drive strategies, manage budgets, schedules, and safety compliance while coordinating across engineering, procurement, and field teams.

Job description

• Provides project leadership to establish project strategies, plans and construction execution philosophy
• Performs the review and acceptance of the contractor's construction schedule and budget
• Ensures contract changes are in accordance with requirements
• Ensures safety, health and environmental regulations and permit requirements are adhered to by employees and contractors
• Expedites engineering and procurement to support construction
• Leads construction closeout, including preparation of data books, project completion reports, and lessons learned
• Develops an enterprise construction quality program
• Ensures compliance with the inspector qualification program, contract permits, and stipulations
• Mentors others
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of twelve (12) years’ related experience on small to mega projects including a minimum seven (7) years on large to mega projects in the oil & gas or related industries
• Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
• Must be willing to carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
• Must be willing to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
• Must be willing to work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
• Must be willing to use hand tools
• Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
• Preferred: Experience in process facility construction or pipeline construction
• Up to 75% travel
