Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan, coordinate and execute natural gas pipeline and related projects. You will develop strategies, review contractor plans, and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and contract requirements.

The role requires leading large-scale construction efforts, mentoring team members, and driving quality programs across project teams. A valid driver’s license and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 12+ years of relevant experience on projects.
• 7+ years on large to mega projects in oil & gas or related industries.
• Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; preferred: experience in process facility or pipeline construction.

• Develop and drive strategic practices within the organization and industry
• Establish project strategies, plans, and construction execution philosophy
• Review and accept contractor construction schedules and budgets
• Ensure contract changes comply with contract requirements
• Ensure employees and contractors adhere to safety, health, environmental regulations, and permit requirements
• Expedite engineering and procurement to support construction
• Lead construction closeout, including data books, project completion reports, and lessons learned
• Develop an enterprise construction quality program
• Ensure compliance with inspector qualification programs, contract permits, and stipulations
• Mentor others
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of twelve (12) years’ related experience on small to mega projects
• Minimum seven (7) years on large to mega projects in the oil & gas or related industries
• Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
• Ability to carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
• Ability to work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE
• Ability to use hand tools
• Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
• Preferred: Experience in process facility construction or pipeline construction
