Job Summary:

As a Supervisor, Maintenance, you will manage factory, building and office maintenance in a manner that maximizes productivity, meets scheduling requirements, minimizes costs and promotes a safe work environment, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments and directly supervise the department functions to ensure maximum productivity and scheduling requirements are met at the minimum cost.


• Study, document, control and improve all maintenance processes and procedures to achieve maximum productivity, minimum cost while meeting scheduling requirements. Ensure documentation is easily understood.


• Maintain budgetary goals.


• Manage the maintenance of existing equipment, establish new equipment requirements for improving reliability, installation of new equipment, building construction, etc.


• Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance system.


• Determine performance standards. Ensure employees understanding and compliance with performance standards through establishment of accountability for work. Complete performance appraisals and conduct coaching and counseling sessions.


• Ensure all safety and work rules and regulations are followed. Ensure departmental housekeeping standards are met.


• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate degree in a maintenance related field and four years experience in maintenance operations or a related function OR


• High School Diploma or GED and 6 years experience in maintenance operations or a related function
