JVIS USA, located in Benton Harbor, MI, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance department, ensure equipment is safely operated, and maximize up-time by directing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across all machines.
You will supervise maintenance technicians, plan preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic/mechanical/PLC problems, coordinate parts and repairs, and collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality to meet manufacturing
The Maintenance Supervisor's primary responsibility is to oversee the maintenance department and ensure that equipment is safely operating and meets its intended use while optimizing equipment up-time. The purpose of the Maintenance Supervisor is to lead and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on all machines and related equipment used in manufacturing. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing maintenance personnel, establishing maintenance priorities, supporting troubleshooting and repairs, and driving preventative / predictive maintenance activities throughout the facility.
Follows all safety, housekeeping and company policies and procedures.
Coordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible manner and performs other related duties and job assignments as required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to demonstrate above average leadership. Must have excellent people skills.
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Some college or technical education preferred (i.e. management, supervision). Minimum of four years of prior manufacturing experience preferred. Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, programmable controller problems. Experience in operating various machining equipment.
