Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience using CMMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate Maintenance Technicians daily.
  • Plan, assign, and prioritize maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with OSHA and company procedures.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting for electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
  • Assist in developing schedules, tracking KPIs, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate with external vendors/contractors as needed.
  • Participate in DBR and Safety meetings.

Essential Functions
  • Daily On-Site Attendance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of Maintenance Technicians to ensure effective execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Plan, assign, and prioritize maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and plan corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production uptime.
  • Support and enforce the preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Review and approve maintenance logs, records, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical guidance to resolve complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in developing maintenance schedules, tracking KPIs, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate Maintenance Technicians, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Maintain inventory of critical spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repairs as needed.
  • Participate in Daily Business Review (DBR) and Safety meetings.
  • Support capital improvement projects and equipment upgrades as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

Environment/Physical Requirements

The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the factory floor and maintenance areas.
  • Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to access and service machinery.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional extended hours and weekends as needed to support production operations or equipment emergencies.

Travel is not required for this position.

Education and Experience
