Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking a Supervisor – Maintenance to lead and guide the maintenance team in Reading, PA. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to company policies while coordinating daily shop floor activities and priorities.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of supervisory experience in manufacturing/maintenance, a high school diploma, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

SUPERVISOR - MAINTENANCE

THE SUPERVISOR – MAINTENANCE WILL . . .

• Provide Maintenance employees with guidance, direction and supervision in support of departmental operations.
• Promptly address performance issues.
• Actively promote all company policies and expectations, especially in support of safety plans and results.
• Execute planned and scheduled maintenance operations within assigned area of responsibility.
• Maintain a positive work environment by regularly communicating with employees on the shop floor and responding to employee issues and concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintain well-organized and productive work areas.
• Work with others to achieve department and company goals and objectives.
• Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business support, technical or production team.
• Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SUPERVISOR – MAINTENANCE

• Minimum two years supervisory experience in a manufacturing/maintenance environment.
• High School Diploma required.
• Two-year college degree preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership ability; sets high expectations for performance.
