Job Description Summary

Supervises employees in the installation and maintenance of electrical and/or mechanical equipment and machinery used in company operations. Oversees the installation and maintenance of equipment and machinery. Oversees the work of maintenance and support staff; communicates expectations, provides direction and training. Monitors work performance and provides feedback. Coordinates maintenance of production equipment. Oversees technical process control and quality process control.

Job Responsibilities

1. Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy maintenance environment by adhering to organization standards, policies, and legal regulations; addresses issues immediately and alerts others regarding potential concerns.
2. Supervises maintenance employees by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff. Communicates job expectations, plans, monitors, and appraises contributions, and recommends compensation actions following policies.
3. Accomplishes maintenance requirements by orienting, assigning, and coaching employees.
4. Meets maintenance standards by following productivity and quality standards; resolves problems.
5. Works with cross-functional teams to meet cost standards by implementing cost-saving measures.
6. Fulfills shift operations plans by receiving reports from the previous shift and allocating resources, in addition to current operational plans.
7. Completes shift operations by monitoring maintenance services, reallocating resources, and solving operational problems.
8. Documents maintenance services through forms, reports, logs, and records, ensuring data accuracy.
9. Contributes to maintenance and organizational success by welcoming new and diverse requests and assisting others in achieving job results.
10. Performs all other duties as assigned.
