Maintenance Supervisor - 1st Shift

Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily equipment maintenance and directs Maintenance Technicians, Blow Mold Operation, and Process Controls. Focus areas include maintenance programs, productivity, and downtime reduction. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and compliance with food safety standards such as GFSI (SQF) and HACCP.

Hours of Work

06:00am-4:00pm; days vary based on maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead maintenance team, set daily priorities, and enforce policies.
  • Schedule work and manage budgets.
  • Maintain maintenance records and interpret downtime reports.
  • Ensure a safe work environment, perform safety inspections, and investigate incidents.
  • Administer plant maintenance functions and ensure proper supplies and tools are available.
  • Resolve technical issues and oversee equipment maintenance and upgrades.
  • Maintain logs, follow SOPs, and handle administrative tasks.
Experience and Knowledge
  • Minimum five years in industrial maintenance, with at least two in a leadership role.
  • Experience in food and beverage manufacturing, familiar with GMP and hygiene standards.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, PLCs, and communication systems.
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance and financial aspects of maintenance.
