BayCare Health System in Plant City, FL seeks a Supervisor – Lab Facility to lead lab operations and drive quality and compliance. You will manage staff performance, scheduling, and onboarding while ensuring accurate testing and timely reporting.

Required: Bachelor's in Biological Science or related clinical science, 4 years in clinical lab, and Florida CL Supervisor license. This exempt, full-time onsite role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science OR a related Clinical Science field.
• Four (4) years of clinical laboratory or related experience.
• State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License is required.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing laboratory staff and daily departmental operations.
• Hiring, onboarding, and scheduling staff to ensure coverage.
• Conducting performance evaluations and coaching team members for growth and development.
• Ensuring timely and accurate laboratory testing and result reporting.
• Supporting staff competency, training, and validation processes.
• Troubleshooting issues related to testing, equipment, and specimen handling.
• Maintaining regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
• Enforcing laboratory safety standards and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Assisting with expense processing and departmental operations.
• Supporting leadership priorities and performing additional duties as assigned.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science OR a related Clinical Science field

Qualifications

Education

Required:
