BayCare is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Coordinator at Bartow Regional Medical Center in Bartow, FL. You will lead daily laboratory operations, oversee the laboratory process, and ensure high-quality diagnostic services while maintaining regulatory compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or related Clinical Science field.
• 4 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinating and leading daily laboratory operations, including scheduling and supervisory responsibilities.
• Prioritizing, delegating, and overseeing all phases of the laboratory process.
• Ensuring adherence to all laboratory policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Overseeing quality assurance and quality management programs and addressing process deviations.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and system-wide requirements, including proficiency testing.
• Leading staff education, training, and competency validation.
• Serving as a mentor, trainer, and resource for laboratory team members.
• Assisting with data collection and monitoring to support laboratory performance goals.
• Supporting operational leadership responsibilities in the absence of a manager or supervisor.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or related Clinical Science field

4 Years of Clinical Laboratory Experience

Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

Shift: 4 x 10 hour day shifts

Schedule: Fulltime | Onsite

Weekend Work: Occasional

Qualifications

Education

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science OR a related Clinical Science field

Experience

• 4 Years of Clinical laboratory experience

Licensure / Certification

• State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
