Job Responsibilities

Supervises and leads department functions, including:

  • Serving and delivering meals
  • Menu planning
  • Food preparation
  • Sanitation
  • Record keeping
Minimum Requirements
  1. Two (2) years of experience in a hospital, major food service establishment, catering, or storeroom/purchasing.
  2. Valid driver's license (required for Northside Gwinnett Storeroom).
  3. Knowledge of common diet modifications.
  4. Knowledge of cafeteria operations.
  5. Ability to maintain proper cash handling procedures.
  6. Supervisory skills to manage food service operations and personnel.
  7. Working knowledge of personal computer applications (Office and Excel) in a Windows environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Certification by the Dietary Manager's Association.
  2. Previous healthcare experience.
  3. At least one (1) year of supervisory experience in a hospital, major food service establishment, or catering service.
