Position Summary

As the Supervisor of Environmental Care, you will play a key leadership role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, families, healthcare providers, researchers, and visitors. Reporting to the Manager of Environmental Care, you will manage daily operations, set departmental priorities, and ensure that performance standards exceed the expectations of our diverse community.

Your leadership will drive team performance, foster collaboration, and promote service excellence aligned with Johns Hopkins’ mission and values.

• Knowledge & Skills:
  • Expertise in healthcare cleaning, floor care, and waste management operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and infection control practices.
  • Proficiency with computer applications including email, spreadsheets, and work order systems.

Salary Range: Minimum 25.29/hour - Maximum 44.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
