We are currently hiring a Housekeeper/Environmental Services Tech I to join Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL.

Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Cleans the administrative areas, hospital, outpatient care centers, restrooms, clinical equipment, floors and hallways
• Disinfects public areas and private rooms
• Aids in the prevention of communicable diseases
• Responsible for linen stocking and delivery

Housekeeper Key Accountabilities

• Ability to learn and use established techniques for the efficient completion of duties
• Ability to present self in a highly professional manner with a positive attitude and open communication
• Understands that honesty and ethics are essential
• Possesses basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.), including relevant electronic and communication devices
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians or others
• Observes safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs (i.e. “wet floor”)
• Knowledge of regulatory/safety requirements related to all assigned work
• Reports safety hazards as appropriate
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information

Full Time/40 hrs/wk

Work Schedule: Night Shift, Weekend Work Required

Housekeeper Qualifications

Salary Range: Minimum $15.23/hour - Maximum $23.53/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
