Role Overview

The Global Operations Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service, serving as a knowledge expert for the global HIS staff. The role focuses on global operations management, training, and ensuring processes comply with established guidelines. This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental projects. The supervisor supports the Global Health Information Operations Manager and maintains workflow and productivity of the global HIS team, handling escalations.

This position requires travel to India for at least two weeks once per quarter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a knowledge expert for global partners
  • Lead training for global associates
  • Generate reports for global partners, management, and clients
  • Oversee Quality Assurance processes for global partners
  • Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of staff
  • Develop and manage workflow for various clients
  • Update Standard Operating Procedures with global partners
  • Inform senior leadership of issues, opportunities, or challenges
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Communicate work status and site issues to the manager
  • Build relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Develop Corrective Action Plans and staff development initiatives
  • Participate in project teams and strategic initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and safeguard patient records
  • Handle additional tasks as directed by the Health Information Operations Manager
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Willing to travel internationally
  • Minimum 2 years of health information experience; 3+ years preferred
  • Experience in project and process leadership
  • Proficient with phones and office equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Attention to detail and compliance in medical records
  • Experience with production/metrics-based work preferred
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Open to feedback and process improvements
  • Effective delegation skills

The estimated total cash compensation range is $57,000—$60,000 USD. Post-offer health screenings and vaccinations may be required depending on client policies and state regulations.
