Role Overview

The Global Operations Supervisor manages client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the global HIS staff. Responsibilities include managing global operations, training, ensuring process compliance, and supporting departmental projects. The role reports to the Global Health Information Operations Manager and involves maintaining workflow, productivity, and handling escalations.

This position requires travel to India for two weeks at least once per quarter.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a knowledge expert for global partners
• Lead training for global associates
• Generate reports for partners, management, and clients
• Oversee Quality Assurance for global partners
• Lead recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of staff
• Develop and manage workflow for clients
• Update Standard Operating Procedures with partners
• Report issues, opportunities, or challenges to senior leadership
• Manage multiple projects effectively
• Communicate work status and site issues
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams
• Develop Corrective Action Plans and staff development initiatives
• Participate in projects and committees to improve operations
• Maintain confidentiality and security of information
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other policies
• Handle tasks assigned by the Health Information Operations Manager

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years in health information preferred
• Willingness to travel globally
• Strong project leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Experience with metrics-based work preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Effective presentation skills
