Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota invites applications for a part-time Supervised Visitation Worker in Duluth, MN. You will supervise visits between non-custodial parents and children, ensure safety, and model positive parenting during sessions.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and a Motor Vehicle Check.

• Training/experience in abuse, neglect, mandated reporting, and parenting skills preferred.

Job description

As a Supervised Visitation Worker, you will provide supervision and guidance to non-custodial parents and children in a supervised visit setting. You will supervise the visit to ensure the child’s well-being, communicate visit restrictions and the contract agreement to the visiting parent(s) and observe, interpret and accurately record all client remarks during the visitation. You will role model and/or verbalize effective parenting techniques as necessary during the visitation and communicate with a program supervisor to address questions, concerns and information/messages from social workers. You will be required to complete the required documentation and relay all mandated reporting and visit concerns to designated parties. In this position, you may be required to testify in court regarding visits.

Pay for this exciting opportunity is $17.68-$19 per hour! PT position. Primarily seeking individuals who can work M-Fri daytime hours. Job Requirements:
