Professional Services Group in Appleton, WI is hiring for a part-time Supervised Visitation Worker in Outagamie County. You will arrange and supervise court-ordered visits, observe interactions, and transport children to and from visits as needed.

This role welcomes both experienced professionals and newcomers to the human services field. Flexible evenings/after-school hours and occasional weekends offer a meaningful way to support families while gaining valuable experience.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
• At minimum, High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in childcare or social work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge of child development to conduct safe, supervised visits with family members.
• Monitor child/family interaction during visitation.
• Redirect families and provide feedback as needed.
• Safely transport individuals to and from visits.
• Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking passionate individuals to join our Supervised Parenting Time program with Outagamie County, where you will play a vital role in providing court-ordered supervision for children placed in temporary foster care and their families. As the Supervised Visitation Worker, you will arrange and supervise visits, observe interactions, and transport children to and from visits when necessary.

This is an ideal position for both experienced professionals and individuals new to the field. Current students exploring the human services field and seeking flexible hours are welcome to apply!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SUPERVISED VISITATION WORKER:

• Utilize knowledge of child development to conduct safe, supervised visits with family members. Visits must be positive and interactive.
• Monitor child/family interaction during visitation.
• Redirect families and provide feedback, as needed.
• Safely transport individuals to and from visits.
• Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
• Provide documentation within established timeframes.

LOCATION:

Appleton, WI. Local travel is required to transport and monitor client visits, with mileage reimbursement.

SCHEDULE:

Part-time 20 hours per week during evenings/afterschool and minimally every other weekend. Occasional holidays may be required.

PAY RATE:

$18.00 per hour
