Job summary

CoolSys is seeking Refrigeration Start-up Technicians to support supermarket refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, ensuring energy optimization projects run smoothly. The role requires advanced EMS knowledge, skinning more with parallel rack systems and a Journeyman level skill set.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in commercial refrigeration, EPA I/II certification, and a valid driver's license, with opportunities for ongoing training and career growth across diverse projects.

Qualifications

3+ years of supermarket EMS systems experience.
5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience, especially parallel rack systems (CO2 a plus).
EPA I and II Certification required.
Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform evacuations of parallel racks after pressure tests.
Wiring and programming of EMS systems for all manufacturers.
Full start-up of new parallel refrigeration systems and individual systems.
Lead small projects such as single case and condenser replacements.
Assist EO projects including retro-commissioning and EMS upgrades.
Coordinate with branch Service/Construction Managers on store troubleshooting and training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
