Job summary

CoolSys is seeking Refrigeration Start-up Technicians to start-up supermarket refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment and support EMS projects. You will work with advanced controls and energy management systems to ensure on-time, efficient project delivery.

The role requires experience with parallel rack systems, EMS wiring, and the ability to read blueprints. A Journeyman level skillset, EPA certifications, and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supermarket EMS systems.
• EPA I and II Certification required.
• Experience with parallel rack systems and CO2 a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up of supermarket refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Lead small projects such as single case and condenser changeouts.
• Assist with energy optimization projects and EMS upgrades.
• Coordinate with Service and Construction Managers.
• Travel, overnight, and overtime as needed.
