Job summary

CoolSys is seeking Refrigeration Start-up Technicians to install and commission supermarket refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment. The role requires EMS system knowledge and the ability to lead small projects while coordinating with branch management.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial refrigeration, EPA I/II certification, and a Journeyman-level skill set for electrical, plumbing, and fixture installations. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of supermarket EMS systems experience.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration with parallel rack systems (CO2 a plus).
• EPA I and II Certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform evacuations of parallel racks after pressure tests.
• Wire and program EMS for all EMS systems.
• Start up of new parallel refrigeration systems and individual systems.
• Lead small projects like single case and condenser changes.
• Assist with energy optimization projects and retro-commissioning.
