Job summary

CoolSys is hiring Refrigeration Start-up Technicians to install and commission supermarket refrigeration, HVAC, and EMS systems. The role requires extensive field work, knowledge of parallel rack systems, and energy optimization projects in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial refrigeration, 3+ years with supermarket EMS systems, EPA I/II, and a valid driver’s license. Travel, overtime, and on-site collaboration with branch teams are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Coursework at an accredited vocational-technical or trade school.
• 3+ years of supermarket EMS systems.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration; CO2 a plus.
• EPA I and II Certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform evacuations of parallel racks after verifying pressure tests.
• Perform EMS wiring and programming for EMS systems.
