Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial/industrial construction experience with leadership.
• 3+ years leading projects as a Superintendent or similar role.
• Experience managing complex industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of means/methods, scheduling, and safety.
• Proven ability to coordinate subs, trades, vendors and teams.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings, specs, and schedules.
• HS diploma or equivalent; advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Experience may be substituted with combined leadership/education.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities of construction crews and supervise projects daily.
• Resolve safety issues and ensure OSHA compliance on sites.
• Communicate with owners, project managers, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
• Enforce company safety policies and quality standards.
• Develop three-week look-ahead schedules and monitor progress.
• Coach and mentor field personnel to meet schedule and budget.
