Dean Snyder Construction Co. in Clear Lake, IA is seeking a capable Superintendent II to direct construction crews and supervise daily project activities on site.

You will coordinate with project managers, owners, and subcontractors, ensuring schedules, safety, and quality are maintained across industrial projects. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with 7+ years in construction and 3+ years in a superintendent role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial or industrial construction experience with progressive field leadership.
• 3+ years leading projects as a Superintendent or similar role.
• Experience managing complex industrial, manufacturing, or similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, QC, and safety.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, crews, vendors, and project teams while keeping schedule and quality.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, schedules, and documents.
• Equivalent combination of field experience, leadership, and education considered.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise construction crews and subcontractors on daily activities.
• Maintain project schedule and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Read blueprints and project specs; communicate with PM/owners/architects.
• Coordinate with project manager, owners, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Promote DSC culture through Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA).
• Ensure OSHA compliance and on-site safety practices.
