A well-established construction company in Naperville is seeking a Local Superintendent to oversee large-scale multifamily projects without travel. The role requires at least 10 years of experience in construction, focusing on residential and commercial projects, along with strong leadership skills. Key responsibilities include managing field operations, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Qualifications

• Minimum ten years' experience in construction, focusing on multi‑family residential and/or commercial projects.
• Must obtain OSHA30 and First Aid/CPR certification upon employment.
• Strong knowledge of all construction facets, including earthwork, drainage, framing, finishes, and mechanical systems.
• Proven ability to supervise, teach, and motivate staff while maintaining excellent safety habits.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all field operations for large‑scale construction projects, ensuring milestones and budgets are met.
• Oversee subcontractors, material deliveries, and labor schedules within the project timeline.
• Maintain rigorous safety standards, conducting daily safety checklists and initiating pre‑construction safety discussions with subcontractors.
• Lead on‑site teams, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Conduct detailed field reports, manage project punch‑lists, and ensure high‑quality project completion.
• Engage in critical decision‑making and problem‑solving to keep projects on track.
