Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent Multifamily Superintendent to join our high-energy construction team in southern California. You will oversee multifamily projects from planning to completion, with podium, wrap, and garden styles, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and top-quality results.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in multifamily construction, experience with CM software and MS Office, and a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

1. 1. Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
2. 2. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring that they understand and adhere to all safety protocols and job site rules.

Qualifications

1. 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on multifamily projects.
2. 2. Demonstrated experience with podium, wrap, and garden style construction methods.
3. 3. A solid understanding of all facets of the construction process, from project planning to completion.
4. 4. Familiarity with construction management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
5. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
6. 6. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
7. 7. A commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.
8. 8. The ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
9. 9. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
10. 10. Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Certified Professional Constructor (CPC), or Associated General Contractor (AGC) are a plus.
